Reaching Mountain Top
After 3 years of “blood, toil, tears, and sweat”, I would like to share with my friends and colleagues that I have successfully defended my Ph.D. thesis at the Technical University of Denmark related to uncertainty quantification and extreme events.
I need to thank the examiners for their time and the fruitful discussion that we had. It was my honor to receive your recommendation.
The thesis examiners were:
-
Assoc. Professor Allan Peter Engsig-Karup - Technical University of Denmark (Chairman)
-
Professor Jan Sickmann Hesthaven - Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Schweiz
-
Senior Researcher Olivier P. Le Maître - Centre de Mathématiques Appliquées, École Polytechnique

It’s been a pleasure working with my main supervisor Assoc. Professor Mirza Karamehmedović. Thank you for your unconditional support along the way.
Thank you also to my co-supervisors from DTU Wind Prof. Henrik Bredmose and Prof. John D. Sørensen. Your productive comments were crucial for our final result.
